5th Black belts & Medicine athletes seminar in Athens - December 2014



For one more year the Black Belts and Sports Medicine seminar was held, which like every year Yoshukan Honbu Dojo of Greece, organizes.

On December 7, 2014, athletes and teachers gathered at the club’s facilities in Peristeri district were the seminar held, which had been divided in two parts.

The first part that took place in the morning included nutrition in martial arts, and specifically health and high performance,which are directly related to proper nutrition.
In this piece spoke the Application Specialist Dietetic, Mr Dimitris Nikolaou representing the Body Building Club stores.













The next piece of the first part belonged to the president of the Greek Sports Company Dr Xenophon Roussis who spoke of injuries in combat sports and rehabilitation.

The part of the seminar held in the morning, attended beginners and advanced students of Black belt & Dan level and except the members of the Honbu dojo, students of the branch of Argos city along with their teacher Vasilis Samaras who is a student of George Pelekis, took part.

 

The seminar was concluded in the afternoon with the second part which was attended only by advanced students of Black Belt & Dan and was conducted by Mr Pelekis who taught in theory and practical applications over realistic self-defense conditions. It was carried outdoors giving absolutely the reactions required in dangerous circumstances and was an unprecedented experience for the participants.

Those who only watched either one or both parts of the seminar, gained valuable knowledge and high level of satisfaction and were eager for the next one.
