On Sunday, March 20, 2016, ″Yoshukan″ dojo organized an acquaintance seminar with the art of Japanese Calligraphy (Shodo) as part of the Cultural Association’s skills in traditional Japanese arts.
The seminar held on the club premises, lasted three hours while entries were specific and limited, as the nature of art requires the constant attention of the teacher.
Teaching made by Ms. Yoko Suzuki, member of Japanese-Greek Association in Greece, and was beyond the teaching of Shodo, reserving pleasant surprises for the seminar participants.
Besides the gifts she had for everyone, she also offered samples of Japanese cuisine including sushi, pastries and tea.
It was an unusual and interesting experience for all participants who expressed a desire to come in contact with this part of the Japanese culture, and eager for a second part of the seminar.
