An acquaintance seminar with "Mabuni Shito-ryu Karate-do" was held in Kos island on the weekend of September 30 & October 1, 2017.

The seminar was organized by Sensei Apostolos Papanikolaou hosting Sensei George Pelekis (6th Dan), official representative of the World Shito-ryu Karate-do Federation in Greece. Basic techniques were taught at the seminar as well as kata and bunkai.

With the end of the seminar and the personal training that the organizer had with Sensei Pelekis, the island of Kos joined the Mabuni Shito ryu family and the World Federation - Shitokai.
