Kobudo Seminar with Shihan George Pelekis in Athens – May 2024

A different seminar took place on Sunday, May 19, 2024 organized by ″Yoshukan″ branch in Greece, in the art of Kobudo (traditional weapons) and specifically the weapon of Nunchaku.

The seminar supported by Shitokai Greece was conducted by the Technical Director of the club and representative of World Shito-ryu Karate-do Federation for Greece, George Pelekis (7 Dan Renshi), lasted four hours and was divided into two parts.
The first part involved adults and teenagers while the second part consisted of children.

The response of the athletes was great as Kobudo is generally a kind of martial art with great interest which is also a part of Shito-ryu style.
All the participants were excited with the technical information they acquiredon this particular weapon, and also by the transferability of knowledge by George Pelekis who once again proved his teaching ability.
