Shitoryu Karate Technical Seminar with George Pelekis in Crete island – April 2026
Once again, the club’s Technical Manager, George Pelekis, traveled to the beautiful island of Crete as a guest of the Athletic Association “Filonikos” and its Sensei, Alexandros Zaimakis (5th Dan Jokyo WSKF), as part of an educational seminar in the art of Shitoryu Karate.
The seminar was held on April 4 & 5, 2026 at the club’s facilities in Arkalochori village with the participation of athletes from the Dojo of Heraklion city where the Cretan club trains.
As in previous times, the athletes who attended the seminar were full of interest and desire to delve into the technical part of the system, something that will help their progress in the style.
George Pelekis, who monitors the development of the technical level of the club’s athletes from both schools located in Heraklion and Arkalochori, was very pleased with their progress, as well as once again with the impeccable hospitality of his student and Dojo Sensei, Alexandros Zaimakis.
