Educational trip to Japan – February 2026

With a luggage full of valuable experiences, new knowledge and images from the land of the Rising Sun, the Sensei of our Dojo returned once again, after a solitary educational journey that took place at the end of February to the beginning of March 2026.
Just like every year, this year also, George Pelekis traveled to the source of Karate, Japan.

The main part of his trip was dedicated to delve into the technique of Shito-ryu Karate system, where he had the extraordinary honor of training in historical Dojo, under the guidance of leading Japanese Masters.
The exchange of technical knowledge and contact with the living tradition of Shito-ryu at its source, are a guarantee for the further qualitative upgrade of training in our Dojo and later in other Clubs in Greece and abroad where he is invited for seminars.

Alongside the demanding training program, the trip included an extensive tour of emblematic Japanese cities such as Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and others.
