15th APSKF Seminars & Championship in Indonesia – November 2018

Once again, the representative of World Shito-ryu Karate-do Federation in Greece, George Pelekis, participated in the Asian Pacific Shito-ryu Championship, which takes place every two years and includes Technical seminars, Referee seminars, Promotional examinations, Championships, organized by the ″Asian Pacific Shito-ryu Karate-do Federation″ and supported by the World Shito-ryu Karate-do Federation (W.S.K.F.)

This event, the 15th in a row, took place in Jakarta, Indonesia from November 21 to 25, 2018.

George Pelekis traveled in order to attend the series of seminars, to participate as a referee in the Championship that concluded the specific event, but also to take part in examinations for the 6th Dan in the World Federation of the style, having already been successfully examined for the specific level by Soke Kenyu Mabuni, and which he accomplished after being prepared by his teacher Con Kassis with hard training on the technical part of Shito-ryu.

He was once again given the opportunity to meet great Shito-ryu Μasters as well as Federation officials, old and new friends, exchange views and return with valuable knowledge and experience in his luggage.
