Intercollegiate Karate training day in Nea Artaki city – June 2023

An Interclub Training Day was held on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at the indoor stadium of Nea Artaki in Evia, organized by the local Sports Club “Polydefkis”.

The purpose of the event was, on the one hand, to acquaint the athletes with the competitive part of Karate, and on the other hand, the knowledge of the manner and rules of its conduct.

Dynamic was the presence of “Yoshukan” dojo team, while there was a large participation of both young and adult athletes from Clubs that cultivate the sport of Karate.

All the participating athletes competed with passion, thus winning symbolic distinctions, medals and experience in Sport Karate, while parents and spectators were pleased with the excellent organization of the event, which is due to the organizer and coach of Sports Club “Polydefkis”, Sensei Christina Basoukou.

At the beginning of the event, the representative of World Shito-ryu Karate-do Federation in Greece awarded a commemorative plaque to the female athlete of “Polydefkis” Club and member of Shitokai Greece, Anastasia Anastasiadi, for
winning the 3rd place in the Balkan Karate Championships in May 2023.
