Shito-ryu Karate-do technical seminar in Argos city – November 2011

One more Shito ryu Karate do technical seminar has been realised in ”Yoshukan” branch of Argos city on November 12 & 13, 2011. The seminar has been conducted by the representative of Mabuni’s Shito ryu in Greece George Pelekis, happy to meet once more familiar students of the branch as well as some new ones, along with their instructor Vasilis Samaras.

The seminar was divided in three groups. First group of junior amateurs was trained in basic kumite techniques, second group of junior skilled students was trained in traditional self defense techniques and the group of senior students was trained in ”Basai Dai” kata.

Once more, not only the students forming the three groups were content with the new material they acquired, anticipating the next technical seminar planned for 2012 spring time, but also the students’ parents watching the event.

Finally, the fact that students from ”Yoshukan” dojo of Athens city also attended the seminar must be mentioned, as well as the fact that Mr Pelekis was escorted and assisted during session by some students of Dan level belonging to Athens dojo, while everyone of them made positive comments regarding the hospitality of instructor Vasilis Samaras.
